Founder, Mike McMahan, began the company with a vision of true client partnership and a personal drive to provide the best customer service. With an MBA from Georgia State, over 10 years experience in general contracting, and 15 years in commercial real estate, Mike’s diverse set of skills is reflected in every project and every client relationship.

Michael H. McMahan

Michael H. McMahan is a highly accomplished real estate developer and licensed General Contractor with extensive expertise in planning, building, and delivering successful residential and commercial projects. As the owner of Paulding Construction Solutions, Mike has earned a reputation for hands-on leadership, precision in execution, and the ability to take projects from concept to completion with exceptional results.

Mike’s career began in commercial real estate, where he quickly distinguished himself by listing, selling, and leasing over 400,000 square feet of office space across Alpharetta, Kennesaw, and Acworth. However, his true passion emerged in building and development, where his skills as both a strategist and a builder have consistently produced outstanding projects.

In 2014, Mike built, opened, and oversaw the complete operations of The Overlook at Cedarcrest, a 40-room, 39,000 sq. ft. assisted living community in Acworth, GA. Serving as both developer and on-site construction superintendent, he handled rezoning, plan design, and daily construction oversight. The project sold within two months of hitting the market for $8.6 million, with total development costs of $4.9 million.

Mike has since delivered multiple senior living projects, including The Lodge at Stephens Lake in Jasper, GA, where he served as general contractor, and The Timbers at Blackwell Creek at Big Canoe, a 63,000 sq. ft. assisted living facility opened in March 2025.

As a residential builder, Mike specializes in active adult communities. His portfolio includes:

  • 29-Unit Acworth Development – Currently under construction on Acworth Due West Road.
  • Mars Hill Village (Acworth, GA) – 28 units, completed and sold out September 2020.
  • Stonehaven Villas (Acworth, GA) – 36 units, completed and sold in 2016.
  • Numerous high-end custom homes in Laurel Springs (Canton, GA) and current presales in Cartersville and Dallas, GA, ranging from $600,000 to $1.25 million.

Mike’s approach to construction is hands-on and detail-driven — he is frequently on-site managing crews, overseeing quality control, and ensuring every project meets both his high standards and client expectations.

He holds a B.S. in Accounting from Lee University and an M.B.A. in Marketing from Georgia State University.

Mike and his wife, Debi, have three grown children and nine grandchildren. They reside in Acworth, GA, where Mike enjoys golf, tennis, and weekend motorcycle rides, and remains active in his local church.
